Anna  Maksym, 90, of  Canton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 28th, 2011.  Born in Poland, on October 20, 1921, coming to America after WWII.  A member of the former St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church of Canton. Preceded in death by her husband Peter Maksym in 1987, she is survived by one daughter, Katherine Maksym of the home and one son, Nicholas (Jill) Maksym of Louisville.

She was the most dearest, loving and caring mother that a son and daughter could ever have. Her caring extended beyond her family to her love of animals.  She always fed the many squirrels and birds that lived among the tall pines around her home.  She will be deeply missed by us all.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 1, at the Waltner Simchak Funeral Home, with Very Rev. Fr. George J. Treff officiating..  Friends may also call on Thursday from 10am until time of service.  Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
