Arturo Anderson, 70, of Canton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. Born November 6, 1954, he was the son of the late Chuck Anderson and Bernice Edwards Triplett. A Jack of all trades, Arturo was a skilled mechanic who loved spending time with his family and had a true passion for sports, especially as a devoted Browns fan. He was a beloved father to three daughters, Ireka Thomas, Nichole Thomas, and Tamecca Heard, and helped raise his daughter Tara (Jason) Heard. He was also a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to seven. Arturo was a supportive brother to Ramona Triplett and Norman Anderson, and a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Arturo's sense of humor was unmatched—he often had people laughing with his witty remarks and hilarious stories, earning him the title of "unofficial comedian" in the family. He will be deeply missed by his long-time girlfriend, Mary Carrel, his special niece and nephew, Shrondra Triplett and Jamal Triplett, and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Majorietta Anderson, Elizabeth Ann Dowry, Claire Scruggs, and Son Triplett, Arturo's love for life and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was truly one of a kind, and he will be greatly missed.
