Barb Mardis, 91, of Orrville went Home to be with her Lord and Savior following a brief illness on Sunday, April 25th. She passed peacefully in her home, designed and built by her late husband, Carl Mardis, where they raised their four children: David Mardis, Kihei, Maui, HI, Wayne Mardis, Orrville, Pam (Clayton) Robertson, Orrville, and James (Kim) Mardis (deceased). Barb had 5 grandchildren Courtney, Christie, Cody, Matthew, Collin; 4, soon to be 5 great-grandchildren: Amelia, Elenore, Micah, Benjamin "Benji' and soon Henry James as well as 5 siblings: Jean Hafer, Cincinnati, Mary Lou Hafer (deceased), Johnstown, Ruth Cacica, Sun City, Arizona, Donna Tvardzik, Windber, Pennsylvania and Ted (Sue) Orr, Annapolis, Maryland. Barb worked for many years as a facility locator for United Telephone of Wooster and later as a crossing guard for the City of Orrville Schools and Police Department. She will be dearly missed and loved by many. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 8th at 2 PM in the Orrville C&MA Church, 300 S Walnut St. Friends and family may call from noon to 2 PM.
