Bert Louis Eddy, Sr, 68, of Canton, passed away Friday, January 5th, in his home surrounded by loved ones, 2 days before the passing of his loving wife of 50 years, Tammy (Weaver) Eddy. Born in West Virginia, on January 6, 1955, a son of the late Bert Emmond and Elizabeth (Hess) Eddy, also preceded in death by son Bert Eddy Jr. He served in the U.S. Marines and also worked at Akron Iron & Metal for 5 years. Survived by 2 daughters Mary Eddy and Meredith Bugh, both of Canton; sister Kathy Coyle, of Canton; 3 brothers Clay Eddy, of Louisville, Dale Eddy and Craig Eddy, both of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.
