Betty Jane Baughman, 92, of North Canton, passed away Wednesday, October 8th, at St. Luke Lutheran Home for the Aging. Born in Canton, on April 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Clair Butts and Hazel Rogers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by loving husband Joel Baughman, 2 sons, Michael Butts and Joel Baughman, one sister, 2 brothers as well as grandson Caleb Bliss. Betty was a deeply loving person — strong, resilient, and full of spirit. She faced every challenge with courage and determination, fighting until the very end. She was the strongest-willed woman I have ever known, and her strength and love will continue to inspire everyone who was lucky enough to know her. Survived by 4 daughters Debra Baughman, Cathy (Wayne) Butterfield, Jodi Flinn, Doctors Sue (Roy) Bliss; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; close family friend whom was more like a son to her Steven Doss as well as other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th at Danbury Glen Clubhouse • 440 Leighfield Lane NE Hartville, Ohio 44632 • from 4 PM - 7 PM.
