Betty J Newman, 87, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 13th, at Bethany Nursing Home. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on October 13, 1930, a daughter of the late Elmer Newman and Edith (Johnson) Hopkins, also preceded in death by step-father McKinley Hopkins. Private graveside services will be held at a later date as per her wishes.
