Beverly J. Frenz, 95, of Canton passed away Saturday, January 31st at Home. Born in Canton, on June 26, 1930 a daughter of the late John Oscar B. and Clara Lena (Oertly) Gatts. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by loving husband of 54 years Frank P. Frenz Jr., 3 sisters Madelyn Conner, Arlene Williams, Vivian Williams and 2 brothers Richard Gatts, George Gatts. A member of the former St.Paul's Catholic Church of Canton, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society as well as a housekeeper. Employed as a secretary for Hercules Engines, of Canton, a waitress for both Athens Restaurant as well as Noreen and Arlene's Restaurant. She was also a member of VFW 3747. Survived by daughter Jodi Frenz; 2 sons Frank P. (Cathy) Frenz III , George M. (Debbie) Frenz all of Canton, as well as numerous family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 10 AM in the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, Canton, with Father David Misbrener and Father Thomas Bishop as celebrants. Friends may call Friday, February 6th from 4PM- 6 PM in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home. A burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery following the service on Saturday. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to St.Jude or a charity of your choice. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery.
