Bonita "Bonnie" Caldwell, 80, of Canton passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026 in her residence. Born in Cleveland on September 11,1946, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Verona (Cowie) Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Barbara, son-in-law Elmer Guy, sister Sherry Steible, best friend Sandy, as well as her beloved dog Jacqueline. Bonnie found joy in the simple things in life and had a special place in her heart for the things she loved most. One of her greatest joys was her beloved dog, Jacqueline, whom she loved dearly and cherished before her passing. Jacqueline held a very special place in Bonnie's heart, and the bond they shared was truly meaningful to her. Bonnie also had a love for the Grinch, a character that brought her joy, and she enjoyed spending time at the park feeding the squirrels. She especially loved playing the game of Aggravation, enjoying the fun and excitement that came with every game. These special interests and favorite pastimes were a part of what made Bonnie unique. Bonnie will be remembered for the things that brought her happiness and the special memories she leaves behind with those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories of her favorite things and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of those who remember her. Survived by her significant other of 28 years, Samantha Guy; daughter Joanne Bloodhart; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Burgy; son-in-law Shawn Guy Sr.; 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew Easterday, Shawn Guy Jr., Esma Guy; 5 great-grandchildren; niece, Candy; as well as other loving family members and friends.
