Brenda Jean Watkins, 78, of Canton, passed away Saturday, November 6th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton on September 20, 1943, a daughter of Frances Elizabeth (Smith) and the late Jessie Leo Fisher, also preceded in death by daughter Phyllis White and 2 sisters Etta Sue and Mary Lou Fisher. A member of the Apostolic Holiness Church of Canton. Besides her mother she is also survived by loving husband Ernest Watkins; 5 daughters Shari Spencer, of Tuson, Arizona, Tina Curry, of Beverly, Ohio, Regina (Phil) Singer, of Cutler, Ohio, Kimberly (Phillip) Harbourt, of Canton, Frances (Eric Blose) Knepp, of Canton; 1 son Louis (Kandy) White, of Beloit; 3 sisters Vivian Cindia, of Canton, Betty Pinkerton, of Alliance, Beverly Stiner, of Canton; brother Roger Fisher, of Canton; former son in law Steven Knepp of Canton; numerous grandchildren including Jessica (Curt) Poling, whom Brenda raised and numerous great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10th in the Waltner - SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to services also in the funeral home. Burial at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville to follow.
