Carl R. Tucker, 85, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 16th, surrounded by loved ones at his home. Born in Cambridge, on February 11, 1938, a son of the late Porter B. and Opal (Jones) Tucker. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by wife Kathryn (Anderson) Tucker and 3 brothers John Tucker, Harold Tucker, both of whom were WWII veterans, and David Tucker whom was a Korean War veteran. Served in The U.S Army and was an active member of the American Legion Post 548 of Louisville. Carl wrote the Coleman Collectors Guide book and had a large Coleman lamp collection. He was also an avid history fan, who loved a good debate, somehow always winning. Survived by 2 daughters Jaedan Tucker, of North Canton, Catherine (Jon) Ballard, of Jackson; 3 sons James M. Tucker, of Louisville, Douglas W. Tucker, of Akron, Robert L. Tucker, of Canton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
