Catherine Jenkins, 92, of Canton passed away Tuesday, December 19th, in her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Tampa, FL on May 7, 1931, a daughter of the late Tullis and Charlotte Victoria (Jones) Horne, also preceded in death by her husband Willie O. Jenkins, 2 sons Willie O. Jenkins Jr. and James Jenkins, 3 brothers Ralph Horne Sr., Timothy Horne Sr, and Lemmie Lingo, twin sister Catherleen Anderson of Tampa, FL. Survived by 4 daughters  Jenary Jenkins; Mary "Mae" Minser; Vernell Jenkins; Ella Baker, all of Canton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 on Thursday December 28th, in the Waltner Simchak Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service.
