Cecelia  S.  Newman, 68, of New Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, September 9th, at Community Hospice (Truman) House, Ohio. Born in Wadsworth, on September 24, 1949, a daughter of the late Cecil  and Alma Jane (Keener) Maynard. Employed as a grouphome nurse for many years. Preceded in death by husband Thomas "Jay" Newman. Survived by daughter Kimberly Baca of New Philadelphia; sister Kay Eltringham; brothers Timothy, Harvey, and Carl Maynard; adopted family: daughter Amanda, granddaughters Allie and Tremarra, and grandson Laterrian.
