Charlene Anne Popow, age 51, of Minerva, passed away on August 1, 2026 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania to Marion (Hoch) Gilligan and the late Douglas Witt. She was preceded in death by stepfather John Gilligan. Charlene was a devoted wife and mother. She adored animals, all of them, whether they were dogs, cats, chickens or any living creature. She also loved the outdoors and especially raising her garden. Never meeting a stranger that she didn't befriend, she was known as the family hostess with her infectious smile. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband Erick L. Moyer, daughter Victoria Anne Popow, son Logan Jay Popow, stepson Glenn Allen Moyer, and brother Sean Gilligan. No services will be held at this time.
