Charles E.  Kopf



Charles E.  Kopf, 90, of Canton passed away Wednesday, October 10th, in the Laurels of Canton Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

Charles was a live long resident of Canton, born on April 2, 1922, the son of the late Adolph  and Euphemia (Smith) Kopf. also preceded in death by 3 sister Margaret Mae Ray, Lily (sis) Wilson, and Jean Kaiser.

He was employed as a Lithographer for 36 years retiring in 1981. A life time member and lay minister of Crystal Park United Methodist Church of Canton. A 1940 graduate of McKinley High School and served  in the U.S. Navy during WW II.

Survived by  his loving wife Virginia B. (Douglass) Kopf of 65 years also several nieces and nephews.

As per Charles's request his body was donated for anatomical studies at NEOUCOM College of Medicine.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Memorial Tributes may be made to the Crystal Park United Methodist Church, 2219 Mahoning Rd. NE, Canton, OH, 44705.
