Charles J Wise, 89, of Canton, passed away Friday, June 22nd, at home following a lengthy illness. Born in Bellaire, OH on May 17, 1929, a son of the late Charles S. and Mary (Salsberry) Wise, also preceded in death by son Charles J. "Jamie" Wise, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. Employed as a television repairman for George C. Willie's Television Repair Company for many years before becoming an independent television repairman. Served in the US Army for 8 years in the Signal Corps and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3747. Besides his wife Doris "Katherine"  (Thomas) Wise, married August 20, 1980, he is survived by 5 daughters Marla (Frank) Endrizz, Georgia Wise, Patty Wise, Grace (Mark) Poloschan, Rose Davis; 3 sons Gary Wise, Terry Wise, Mark Wise; 2 sisters; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, June 28th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Mathew W. Conley officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, June 27th from 5pm to 7pm also in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
