Chester D Jenkins, 86, of Dalton, passed away Friday, May 10th. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on November 23, 1932, a son of the late Robert Sr. and Naomi  Jenkins, also preceded in death by his wife Betty Collins. Served in the U.S Army. Employed as a school teacher for many years as well as being employed for Republic Steel. He is survived by numerous children and grandchildren. No services will be held at this time.
