Christopher E Gauer, 51, of Canton, passed away Saturday, October 28th, in his home. Born in Canton on July 7, 1972, a son of the late Mary (Gauer) Swonger, also preceded in death by his grandparents Victor and Mavis Gauer. Survived by his wife Amber Powers; 3 step-daughters Kayla; Samantha; Jasmyne; son Ryan Collings; sister Rena (Dan) Swonger; brother Tom (Mindy) Swonger; 4 nephews Corey, Anthony, Brendan, Nathan; cousin Virginia (Jason) Welsch, as well as adopted step-father Daniel Brown. He loved his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins very much. Everyone knew he was a great person to be around. A memorial service will be held at Martindale Christian Fellowship Church on Wednesday November 8th, at 10 AM. Service will begin at 11 AM with a lunch to follow.
