Christopher Dale Norris, 65, of Massillon, passed away Friday, June 28th, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Born in Canton, on January 3, 1959, a son of the late Yvonne (Norris) Threm. Besides his mother he is also preceded in death by sisters Monica Fox, Vicky Minard, brothers Eric Threm, Dennis Threm Jr., aunt Vera Mayle, uncle Billy Norris, and grandfather Dorsey Norris whom he was raised by. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Norris (Mayle); 2 daughters Kami (Sonny) Lewis, Kristian (Jake) Mayle; 4 sons Steven (Micki) Newman, Bradley (Miranda) Mayle, Jerry "Moose" (Carrie) Weaver, Shawn Ott; 2 sisters Lisa Messer, Connie Jo; 2 sister-in-laws Dessie (Robert) Betz, Cherry (Jerry) Weaver; special Niece Glenda (Ed) Stuber; close friends Charles Minard, Jimmy Minard and Ed Newman, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Calling hours will be held in The Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home Tuesday, July 2nd, from 6 PM- 8 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3rd, at 11 AM in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church, with pastor Anthony Mayle officiating. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, of Louisville following the service. A luncheon will take place after the service at Canton Freewill Baptist Church.
