Clifford Romanus Parsons, 83, of Carrollton, was born on February 27, 1937 in Philippi, West Virginia to the late Clinton and Delcie (Croston) Parsons, also preceded in death by 2 sons Carmen and Clifford Joseph, 3 sisters Beverly, Velvie, Elafay, 4 brothers Theodore "Teddy", Norman, Roy Gene, and Albert. Clifford moved to Canton as a teenager, he had many odd jobs, but was mostly a security guard for twenty six years. He loved loved the Cleveland Indians as well as fishing, hunting, and going to Rogers Flea Market with his best friend Keith. Survived by his loving wife Jean Parsons of 26 years; 5 daughters Beverly (Leon) Dow, Velvie "Kitty" Lyons, Tiffany (Jerome) Cheadle, all of Oklahoma, Michelle Lightfritz, of Carrollton, Stephanie (Ted) Rhodes, of North Canton; son Dennis (Susan) Waller, of Mineral City; 2 sisters Khalima Sulton, Bridget (Donald) Johnson; 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren including special grandchildren Chris, Grabble Gertie, and Scooter; as well as a host of nieces; nephews; loving family; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, March 7th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Grimes of the Heavens Edge Apostolic Church officiating.
