Connie M. Sedon, Age 77, of Canton, and a four year resident of St. Joseph Care Center of Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 at Aultman Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Connie was born in Canton on April 26, 1933, the daughter of the late George J and Jean E (Fabinack) Christ, also preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Mary and Mike Sedon.

A 10 year employee of the Hoover Company of N. Canton and a Member of St. Pauls Catholic Church and St. Michael Catholic Church both of Canton.

Connie was a devoted wife and mother and dearly loved her grandchildren. She had a strong belief in God, enjoyed life, music, dancing and was a compassionate, caring and kind person.

Survived by her husband of 55 years, Nick Sedon, Sr., a daughter, Kathleen Sedon of N.Canton; a son, Nick (Kathy) Sedon, Jr. of Weddington, NC; two grandchildren, Jake and Ashley Sedon, two sisters, Barbara (William) Buck of Louisville;  Nancy Huberty of N.Canton; and a brother, Richard (Dori) Christ of Bolivar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church at 10 am Wednesday, February 9, 2011, with Fr. Donald King officiating.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday 6-8pm at Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Interment at Forrest Hill Cemetery.
