Dale G Jeffers, 92, of Miamisburg, formerly of Louisville, passed away Monday, December 14th, at Elmcroft of Washington Township Assisted Living, of Miamisburg. Born in Louisville on February 9, 1928, a son of the late Carl and Edna (Waltner) Jeffers, also preceded in death by his wife Shirlee A. (Wymer) Jeffers, passed away October 22, 2018, sister Frances Daily, as well as 2 brothers Edwin and Donald Jeffers. Dale was a member of the Moraine Heights Baptist Church of Dayton. Employed for over 35 years with the City of Canton Motor Vehicles Department. He was well known in the Louisville community for being the bus driver for the St. Louis School basketball team in the 1950s. Survived by daughter Carolyn (Paul) Hansford, of Miamisburg; sister Carolyn Hess, of Canton; 4 grandchildren Hannah (Aaron) Baldwin, Rebekah Hansford, Paul "Denny" Hansford III, and Grace Hansford. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on December 18th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Northlawn Cemetery.
