Dane J. Frauenholz, 83, of Canton, passed away Friday, November 3rd, at Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center following a brief illness. Born in Etna, PA on June 10, 1934, a son of the late Raymond and Hanna Frauenholz, also preceded in death by a sister Cynthia Sullivan, brother Gary Frauenholz, and half-brother William Bender. Employed as an Engineer for 50+ years for sign companies, Dane also served in the U.S. Navy. Survived by his wife of 44 years Jaynie E. (Olson) Frauenholz, 2 daughters Jan  E. (William) Van Kirk, of Allison Park, PA, Josanne (Larry) Hardesty, of Slippery Rock, PA; son Dane R. (Christi) Frauenholz, of Canton; 2 brothers Lowell Frauenholz, of Mackay, ID,  Blaise Frauenholz, of Squaw Valley, CA; also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Memorial Services will be held 9:30am Saturday, November 11th, 2017 in the First Friends Church at 5455 Market Ave. N. Canton, Ohio 44714 with Rev. Paul Johnson officiating.
