Dannie Lee Edison, 73, of Akron, passed away Friday, December 3rd, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Born in Canton on November 13, 1948, a daughter of the late Walter and Ollie Mae (Wright) Edison, also preceded in death by son Anthony Edison; daughter Occa Edison and brother Decus Green. Survived by 3 daughters Christine (Christopher) Duck, Lisa Butler, all of Canton, Shekila (Mario) Willis, of Akron; son Timothy Edison, of New York; sister Pamela Frite, of Canton and brother Walter Edison, of California as well as 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15th at the New Morning Star Full Gospel Ministries, 718 Cornelia Ave NE, Canton, with Evangelist Lisa Allen officiating. Friends and family may call 1 hour before services also in the church.
