Daryl was called home to rest on Monday, April 26th, 2021. Born March 20th, 1956 the eighth child of Oswald E. and Annie (Haywood) Brown. A 1975 McKinley High School graduate, Daryl attended Antioch Church and True Life Church of Canton, worked for Frito Lay and Hoover and resided in Canton after living in Denver, CO and Columbus. He was nicknamed "Holy Karolie", after butchering Biggie Smalls' "Cali", by his close friends. He enjoyed fishing and playing his numbers. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents Aaron and Luretta Haywood; paternal grandparents Osbie and Norma Brown; mother Annie (Haywood) Brown; sister Luanna (Johnson) Brown; brother Donald Brown and neice Carmia Taylor. Survived by father Oswald Brown; children Daryl (Tracy), Tia, Teena, Jamonte, Martez; grandchildren Kameri, DJ, Andre, Tay' Shawn and Jay'ceon; sister Norma (Phillip); brothers Eugene (Theresa), Egbert (Denise), Rolland (Elizabeth) and Rev. Rickey (Johnnetta) as well as many cousins and friends including special friends Toni and Shirley. With his crazy laughter and wearing those glasses on his nose, Daryl will be missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4th at 1:00 PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to services.
