David A Croston, 65, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 21st, at his home. Born in Canton, on January 7, 1953, a son of the late Bradford Croston and Eileen Mayle-Croston; also preceded in death by 2 brothers Jeffrey and Terry Croston, and a granddaughter Amaris Croston. Employed at Republic Steel in Canton, for 30 years retiring in 2002. He is survived by his wife, Belmira (DePina) Croston, to whom he married August 2nd, 1975; daughter Consuela (Henry) McElroy, of Massillon; 2 sons Damion (Marisa) Croston, of Menifee, CA, Travis Croston, of Sterling, VA; 2 sisters Linda Mayle, of Canton, Sheila (David) Parsons, of Navarre; 2 brothers Paul (Barb) Croston, of SC, Eric (Catrina Smith) Croston, of Massillon; also survived by 4 grandchildren Dejae, DeSean, Darrius, and Destini McElroy. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, January 27th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home in Canton, with Dr. Sharon Carnes officiating.
