David Allyn Douthitt, 74, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, January 13th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Akron, on March 24, 1947, a son of the late Clinton and Maxine (Weiss) Douthitt, also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Douthitt, and a granddaughter, Morgan Douthitt. Honorably served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne as a Corporal; after which he worked dilligently for DC Hiatt as a heavy equipment operator. Survived by 3 sons, David Allyn Douthitt, Jr., of Florida, Danny (Linda) Douthitt, and Daryl Douthitt, as well as one grandchild and many other family members and friends. There are no services planned at this time.
