David Edwin Kelly, 77, of Canton, passed away on July 29th, 2021 surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. Dave was born in Canton on July 6th, 1944 to the late E. H. "Pete" and Delores (Wilson) Kelly, also preceded in death by infant twin sister Deanna and brother Gary. He graduated from Glenwood High school in 1962 before going on to serve in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1964. A truck driver, he retired from Ohio Roll Grinding Inc. after 21 years in 2011. He loved his Peterbuilts, autocars and work friends as well as bull riding and attending county fair horse pulls. A proud father and extremely proud grandfather he is survived by loving wife of 35 years Theressa Kelly; 4 children Shawn (Kris) Kelly, Renee (Brannon) Harper, Andrea (Ryan) Long, Jeff (Mandy) Gibb; sister Janice (Bob) Lehman; 2 brothers Michael (Connie) Kelly, Patrick (Barbara) Kelly and 9 grandchildren Paighton (Jake), Colton, Andrew, Katelyn, Kyleigh, Josie, Ryett, Grace and Sage as well as best friend Nick (Candy) Housos. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
