David Leotti, 79, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, March 21st, at Mercy Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in East Canton, on September 7, 1937, a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Poulis) Liotti, also preceded in death by son David Michael Liotti, 5 brothers Charles, William, Eugene, Jim, Steve and 3 sisters Dorthy, Annie, and Rose. Employed in various jobs in the steel and copper industry, retiring in 1998. Served as an MP in the U.S. Marines and attended St Benedicts Catholic Church of Canton. Survived by his wife Patricia (Gardner) Leotti, married December 27, 1958; daughter Elizabeth Liotti, of Portland, Oregon; brother Donald Storsin of Canton; 7 grandchildren Tiffany, Christina, Niki, Jessica, Candice, Diandra, Marcela; and 12 great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday March 24th at 2pm in the Waltner - SIMCHAK Funeral Home, a memorial service will follow at 3pm on Friday March 24th also in the funeral home with his daughter Elizabeth officiating.
