David Bryan Wendling, 67, of Port Washington, passed away Sunday, June 8th, at Aultman Compassionate Care. Born in Massillon, on October 28, 1957, a son of the late Harold Eugene and Florence Madeline (Nougaret) Wendling. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emanuel and Lalie (Porter) Nougaret. David had a passion for fishing, boating, and camping, specifically at Cluster Island. He was an avid listener of blues music, loved to engage in political debates, and had a great sense of humor. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved wood carving, in which he was extraordinary at. He was known to be an attentive listener, making others feel heard, and providing well-considered advice. Survived by son David E (Missy Sanor) Wendling; daughter Julia Wendling; brother Harold Allen (Charlene) Wendling; 5 grandchildren Kayla Newman, Skylar Smith, Olivia Wendling, Khale Wendling, Oliver Wendling; 2 great-grandchildren Annalee Williams, Baylin Williams; as well as other loving family members and friends. No services will be held at this time.
