Obituary

David Lynn Williams, 65, of Canton, passed away Sunday, July 14th, at Cleveland Clinic. Born in Washington DC, on May 28th, 1959, a son of Sandra Norwood and the late Leo Williams. Besides his father he is also preceded in death by brother Greg Williams, sister Sherry Dawn Williams and step-father Bishop Norwood. David proudly served for 13 years in the U.S Army, then went on to work for the Laborers Local 1015. He also enjoyed fishing and was a huge Dallas cowboys fan. Survived by his loving wife Marie (Forshay) Williams; daughter Tejuana (Gregory) Elam; 3 sons David Williams Jr., David Charles Anthony Williams, David Williams III; 4 step-children Rachel Castle, Danny Castle II, Amanda Mayle,and Tia Faulkner; 2 sisters Tracy Risby, Kamilyn (Deric) Davis; 3 brothers Ronnie (Rose) Williams, Blane Williams, and Leo (Angelike) Williams as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and beloved dog Stormy Williams. A memorial service will be held in the New Convenant Church 3202 Cliftmont Ave NE, Canton 44705 on Monday July 22nd from 1 PM to 3 PM with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating. A dinner will follow the service from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Local 1015.
