IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Jack
Wine
June 16, 1958 – February 22, 2026
David Wine, 67, of Canton passed away on Sunday, February 22nd at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton on June 16th, 1958, the son of the late Jackie D. and Mabel (Heater) Wine. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother. Gary Scott Wine. David was a man who lived life in full throttle, with music in his soul and love for his family at the center of everything he did. A talented musician, David found great joy with a guitar in his hands. He loved rock and country music, often playing his favorite songs that created an unmistakable sound of strings that seemed to echo his spirit. David had a deep passion for cars and speed. A skilled mechanic and welder, he earned his certificate from Stark State College, turning his love of engines into a lifelong craft. He could fix just about anything with a motor and took pride in every machine he worked on. Known for having a bit of a lead foot and a hot rod heart, David loved to go fast and appreciated the power and beauty of a finely tuned engine. In his younger years, David served as a lifeguard, a strong swimmer who felt at home in the water. Nothing compared, however, to the open road on his beloved Harley-Davidson. Riding his Harley-Davidson was one of his greatest joys. The freedom of the ride, the wind on his face, and the rumble beneath him brought him a peace few things could match. Above all else, David was a devoted father and grandfather. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them. His love for them was fierce, steady, and unconditional. David will be remembered for his generous heart, his adventurous spirit, and the love he poured into his family. Though he may have loved fast engines and loud guitars, nothing ever meant more to him than the people who called him Dad and Grandpa. His legacy rides on in their hearts forever. Survived by daughter Jennifer (Brandon Tharpe) Wine; 2 sons Christopher (Stephany Brown) Wine, David Ardon (Jessica) Wine; brother Roger Dean Wine; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends. No services will be held at this time.
