Delmas Miner, 75, of East Canton, passed away Thursday, October 27th, in his home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on May 25, 1947, a son of the late Burtis and Rosalee (Miner) Newman. Surived by loving companion of 33 years Robin Butler, 2 sons Joseph (Julia Mayle) Miner; Dell (Will Richards) Miner, both of Canton; 2 step-daughters Maggie (Steve) Gatewood, of Waynesburg; Cheri (Curtis) Shover, of Canton; 2 sisters Linda Miner; Erma Newman, both of East Canton; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Thursday, November 3rd in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Mayle officiating. Friends and family may call 2 hours prior to services. Burial at Evergreen Memorial Gardens to follow.
