Dennis J. Boecker, 83, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, September 20th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Cloverdale, Ohio on June 18, 1939, a son of the late Henry and Ruth (Schmitt) Boecker, also preceded in death by his wife Dianne (Dulle) Boecker, 2 brothers Maurice (Donna) Boecker, and Norbert Boecker, son in law Dale Moore. Employed for many years as a computer manager for Michelin Tire. Survived by daughter Debra Moore, of Canton; 2 sons Dennis (Doris) Boecker Jr., Donald (Brenda) Boecker, all of Canal Fulton; 2 sisters Marilyn (Don) Dunbar, Maureen (Pete) Kennerk; 6 brothers Karl (Linda) Boecker, Duane (Bonnie) Boecker, Paul (Laurie) Boecker, Marvin Boecker, Alan (Tammi) Boecker, George (Terry) Boecker; 6 grandchildren Makenzie, Joshua, Brandon, Jessica, Clayton, Vanessa; sister in law Jean Boecker, as well as many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 7th in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 320 N. Locust St, Ottawa, OH with Father Scott Kramer as celebrant. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to services, also in the church. Following services a memorial meal will be served in the VFW Post 9142 hall, 212 W. 2nd St, Ottawa, OH.
