Denver Richard Thornton, 63, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday, November 23rd, at Aultman Hospital. Born in West Virginia on August 27, 1958, he is preceded in death by mother Betty (Sprout) Welch and stepfather Lester Welch. A member of Holy Lamb of God of Alliance. Survived by wife Deborah K. (Stephenson) Thornton; daughter Jessica (Daniel Johnstone) Thornton, of Canton; 2 sisters Teena (Dave) Flory, of Alliance, Beth (Adam) Stevenson, of Minerva; 2 brothers Thomas "Scott" Thornton, of Minerva and David Welch, of Alliance as well as 2 grandchildren Elijah L. Mackey (9), Ja'Niah M. Thomas (4) and his daughters mother Melissa A. Mayle. There will be no services at this time.
