Donald E. Collier, 78, of Paris, OH passed away Friday, February 11th, 2011 at his daughter's residence in Canton following a lengthy illness.

Born in Canton, Ohio on October 16, 1932, the son of the late Norman and Elizabeth (Cowan) Collier also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Employed as a Forman with DLH Industries, and a associate member of the VFW Post 3747 of Canton.

Donald is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kirkley) Collier, to whom he married March 18, 1978. Also survived by daughters, Tonya (Ted Dotson) Collier, Teaya (Matt) Quillen, sons Donald Collier, II, David Collier, Dustin (Erin) Collier, Donovon (Jennifer) Collier, Ronald (Kathy) Collier, Craig Collier all of Canton,  Robert (Ruth) Collier of Danville, Randy Collier, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends are invited to call also on Wednesday from 11am till time of service. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home, 2257 Mahoning Rd. NE., Canton, OH 44705 to defray funeral expenses.
