Donald F. Sherman, 67, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 24th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Ashland on April 8, 1953, a son of the late Clara V. (Pennel) and Ellsworth C. Sherman, also preceded in death by sister Nancy and brother Carl. Besides his wife Nadine E (Morton) Sherman, he is survived by step daughter Nadine A. (Joseph Boley Jr.) Blackburn; step son Neil (Priscilla) Blackburn, of Cocoa, FL; 3 sisters Viola, Liz, Darlene; 2 brothers Sam, David; as well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday, August 28th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Gamble officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to services.
