Carol Dolan, 85, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, March 12th, at Aultman Compassionate Care. Born in Charleston, West Virginia on November 22, 1939, a daughter of the late George and Sybil (Means) Carte. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years Luther Dolan, daughter Carol Jean, grandson Jason Dolan, 1 brother and 1 sister. Survived by 3 daughters Darlene (Rod) Mayle, of Canton, Evelyn (Dan) Wittenmyer, of Tennessee, Marge (Rev. Paul) Mullen, of Phillipi, West Virginia; 2 sons John (Sarah) Dolan, of Leetonia, Ohio, Bill (Teresa) Dolan, of Salem, Ohio; 2 sisters Alice Carte-Cox, of Hurricane, West Virginia, Irma Yokum, of Vienna, West Virginia; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews family members and friends. A funeral Service will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home on Monday, March 17th at 1 PM with Reverend Paul Mullen officiating. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
