Donna Jean Matheson, 71, of Alliance, passed away Wednesday, March 29th, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Canton, on July 4, 1951, a daughter of the late John Albert and Freda (Fausnot) Matheson, also preceded in death by sisters Doris, Virginia, Violet, Betty, Carol, Linda, Helen, brothers Ronny, Larry, Jimmy, Bud, Russell, Bob, and Donald. Served in the U.S. Army and was employed for many years as a custodian for Canton City Schools before retiring. Survived by 2 daughters Jonni (Gary) Tuttle, Estella Bennett, all of Alliance; son Joey (Jen Chandler) Bennett, of Diamond; 2 sisters Marilyn Sheaks, of North Canton, Cathy (Ron Coleman) Johnson, of Ravenna; brother Chuck Matheson, of Canton; 9 grandchildren Jake, Brian (Gina), Tanis, Kiara (Gene), Jaden, Jordan, Audriana, Nadiah, Karter; and great-grand-daughter Adaliah; as well as many nieces nephews; family members; and friends. No services will be held at this time.
