Dorinda Sabo, often referred to as the greatest knee slapper of the Midwest, 77, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on December 10,2023. A wonderful late Christmas present, she was born on December 29, 1945. Dorinda was one of the most loving and welcoming people you could meet, often going out of her way to bring a smile or a laugh to anyone, so much so that she often very quickly became the favorite member of her family by newcomers when she would emerge in a cape and wacky hat with a grand flourish upon their first meeting. She'd be the first to tell you that her life was not perfect and she made many mistakes, but she spent every day in service of others because she believed kindness was the greatest trait humans possess.

Dorinda is survived by her daughters, Stacey Sabo and Merrie McBride, her son, Patrick DiMinno; grandchildren Constance (Ben), Joseph, Spencer (Savannah), Riccardi, Kayleen, Ashtan (Robyn), Emily, Alex; great-grandchildren Leilani, Sage, Olivia; and niece who loved her like a mother, Jenny. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott DiMinno.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor the amazing woman who was Dorinda.
