Dorothy A Byassee, 82, of Canton, passed away Friday, February 14th, at Astoria Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Robertsville, Ohio on October 1, 1937, a daughter of the late Carl Frederick and Lucinda Irene (Lautzenheiser) Riehl, also preceded in death by both her husbands Dale Yannayon and Archibald Byassee; 3 sisters Martha Metz, Ruth Leech, Mary Stantz; 4 brothers Richard Lautzenheiser, Roy Riehl, Glenn Riehl and Clyde Riehl. A member of Liberty Christian Church, she enjoyed reading the bible. Survived by daughter Dawn Hatfield; son Joseph Yannayon; sister Doris Bice, of Oregon; brother Ray Riehl, of Canton, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 20th in the Waltner - SIMCHAK Funeral Home in Canton. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM until the time of services, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
