Doy G. "Joe" King, 57, of Canton, passed away Saturday, March 7th, at Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Canton, Ohio on July 29, 1957 and was employed as a State Tested Nursing Assistant for 12 years. Preceded in death by his parents Ottice and Ruby (Truman) King, 2 sisters Rita Greathouse, Edna Stephens, and nephew Robert Greathouse. Survived by his loving wife of 30 years Loretta (Johnson) King; 4 daughters Cassandra King of the home, Anita Greathouse, Lisa King, and Teresa King all of West Virginia; one son Joseph King of the home; 3 sisters Virginia Palushik of Wisconsin, Kay Croston and Ruby King both of West Virginia; 2 brothers Bo King of West Virginia, Roy King of Massillon; several nieces and nephews; and 9 grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 11th at 7 PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Kimbril officiating, friends may call one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers the donations can be made to Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
