Dwight B. "Butch" Sprout Jr., 75, of Canton, passed away Easter morning, April 5th, at his residence following an extended illness.  Born in Canton on April 8, 1939 and he lived here his entire life except for a brief time in the Army. Employed as a loading dock foreman for the Akro Corp. of Canton, retiring 14 years ago. Before his illness he loved to go to the casinos and was an avid bowler.  Preceded in death by his parents, Dwight B. and Margaret "Peggy" Sprout Sr., brother David Sprout and father-in-law Carl Courtney. Survived by his wife Gladys (Courtney) Sprout, with whom he recently celebrated their 20th anniversary; son Dwight "Butch" (Ginger) Sprout of Canton; step daughter Denise Dunn of Canton; step sons John Dunn of Mulberry, FL, Michael Dunn of Canton, brother Barry (Vicky) Sprout of Fort Myers, FL; step-grandchildren John Dunn II, Michael Dunn II, JoAnne Dunn and Melisa Hummel; step-great-grandchildren Savannah and John Ethan Dunn; mother-in-law Liliane Courtney; also survived by sisters- in-law and brothers -in-law, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11 ^th at 2 pm in the Salvation Army Chapel, 315 6 ^th St. NE Massillon.
