Obituary

Edna Mae Warren, 91, of North Lawrence, passed away Friday, March 22nd at the Community Hospice Truman House of New Philadelphia. Born in Jacobsburg, Ohio on September 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Sherman and Gertrude (Harlan) Brooks, also preceded in death by her husband William Warren Sr, daughter Polly Lewton; 2 grandsons Zane Lewton, John Bird Jr., step-daughter Dorine Garrott; 4 sisters Mildred, Norma, Audrey, Ethel, 4 brothers Lawrence, David, Walt, and Robert. Survived by 2 daughters Brenda (John) Bird, of Canal Fulton, Norma (Jim) Leeson, of North Lawrence; son Jeff Mahoney, of North Carolina; step daughter Patricia Kinsey; 2 step sons William Warren, both of East Canton, Jack (Sharon) Warren, of Canton; brother Raymond Brooks, of Jacobsburg; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends, including special niece Alice St. Clair. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 27th from 6 PM until 8PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, March 28th, also in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
