Elizabeth A. Quilter

Elizabeth A. (Betty)  Quilter, 83, of Canton, passed away peacefully Friday, February 24th., in The Inn at University Village, Massillon following an extended illness.
Elizabeth was born in Canton, on August 31, 1928, the daughter of the late William and Kathryn (Slifka) Germanoff, also preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Quilter who died February 13, 2008, and a son, Michael J. Quilter.  A member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Louisville.

Betty is survived by 5 daughters Jane (Ed) Glodowski of Charlotte, NC., Mary Jo (Chris) Koerner of Huntersville, NC., Kathleen (Tom) Feathers of Robertsville, Julie (John) Chis of Dana Point, CA., Susan DiPietro of N.Canton; 2 Sons Patrick (Jane) Quilter of Canton, Bill (Annice) Quilter of Canton; 1 sister Florence (Germanoff ) DePalmo of Canton;  3 brothers Butch Germanoff of Canton,  Archie Germanoff,  Luben (Julie) Germanoff both of Charleston, SC.; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Private services have been held by her loving family and friends.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Great Lakes Hospice of Akron.  Add your condolences on our website at waltner-simchak.com.
