Elizabeth Royer, 53, of Newcomerstown, passed away Tuesday, May 8th, at Community Hospice House, New Philadelphia. Born in Zanesville on April 20, 1965, a daughter of the late Harold  and  Sarah (Sams) Hamrick also preceded in death by brother Alfa Johnston and 2 sisters Shirley Higgins and Patricia Daugherty. Besides her companion, Curtis Jacobs, she is survived by 2 daughters Erika (David) Caley, of Newcomerstown; Megan (Dirk) Hastings, of Cambridge; 2 sisters Barbara (Sam) McWhorter, Ruthann Tyo, and brother Robert Johnston Sr., all of Newark; and 9 grandchildren.
