Ellen R. Burchett, age 55, of Canton, passed away Sunday, May 1st, 2011 peacefully at McKinley Life Care Center of Canton following an extended illness.

Ellen was employed as a clerk for 15 years with the Stark County Metropolitian Housing Authority.

She was born in Canton on May 25, 1955, the daughter of the late Dale and Maude (Baker) Burchett. Ellen is survived by a daughter, Stephany (Martell) Faulkner of Canton; two sons Anthony Burchett of Akron, Steven Burchett of Canton; 4 Grandchildren: Arianna, Akeelah, AliJah, Alontaye, a sister, Patricia Henderhan of Canton, four brothers, Bill Burchett of Canton, John (Cathy) Burchett of N. Canton, Robert Burchett of Canton, and Dale Burchett of Louisville.

A Memorial Service will be held at at True Vine Revival Center, 1618 Navarre Road, SW, Canton, Ohio 44706, at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 6th, 2011 with Pastor Willie Wilder and Rev. Umbola Giffin officiating.
