Emogene Smith, age 86, passed away in her home on Sunday, November 18, 2018, surrounded by her family. Born one of twelve children to the late Leonard and Thelma Pearl Boggs of Duffy, WV. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy and one daughter, Debby Vitale. Leaving hehind her children Sheila Yates, Billie Tingler, Robert (Rhonda) Smith, Robbie (Tammy) Smith, and a loving niece Lynn. She had 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren along with numerous friends that loved her dearly. Also, her special dog, Buddy. Emogene loved being a nurse's aid, spending time with her loved ones, playing cards and bingo, and going on the occasional fishing trip. A special thanks to Mercy Hospice for their tremendous support and wonderful care. Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 21 at 12 noon at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
