Eric Scott Collins, 43, of Louisville, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 26th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton on February 5, 1978, the son of Linda (Parsons) Newman and Leonard  Collins. Preceded in death by grandparents Juanita and Orvel Collins, Dorothy Dalton, John Henry Mayle, close friends Stacy Collins and Joe McCartney. Employed as a press operator for over 7 years at the GBS Corporation he attended the Canton Freewill Baptist Church and the New Covenant Church of Canton, enjoyed travel and vacations, his favorite destination was Clearwater Beach, and riding ATV's with family and friends. Besides his parents Eric is survived by his love Tiffany Tabler, of the home; daughter Jayda Dalton, of Canton; son Dylan Dalton; 2 step daughters Sarah, Allison, all of the home; sister Krissie (Jimmy) Mayle, of Canton; best friends Shawn Kennedy, Steve Croston, Michael Harold and special cousin April Parsons as well as 3 nephews, many other cousins, aunts, uncles, family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 1st in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Anthony Mayle officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, March 31st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home as well as 1 hour prior to services Thursday in the Church.
