Flement "Punk" Mayle, 72, of Canton, passed away Sunday, March 2nd in his home. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on August 1, 1952, a son of the late Phillip and Genevie (Norris) Mayle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wilkie Mayle and his sister, Julieann Mayle. Punk enjoyed old cars, eating, but especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Survived by his significant other of over 50 years, Nettie Mayle; 2 sons Phillip (TJ House) Mayle, Michael (Becky Kennedy) Mayle; 4 sisters, Wilma (Alfred Mayle) Dalton; Mary Mayle; Gloria (John) Botsch, Sheila (Ronald) Williams; brother, Connie Joe Mayle; 3 grandchildren, Nevaiah Mayle, Braylon Mayle, Carson Mayle; a very special friend, Charles Pifer; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other loving family and friends. Calling hours will be held from 6PM to 8PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6th. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday, March 7th in the New Covenant Church, 3202 Cliffmont Ave NE, Canton, Ohio 44705, with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating, with calling hours also 2 hours before services on Friday. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
