Frank L. Bailey Sr.

Frank L. Bailey Sr., 70, of Canton went home on Wednesday, December 11, to be reunited with the love of his life, Charlotte, to whom he was married October of 1960. Frank was born in Elizabeth, WV on March 22, 1943, the son of the late Obie and Pearl (Grailey) Bailey, also preceded in death by great grandson David Lee Misjan Jr. Although it broke the hearts of his family to let him go we all know that he is now happy and at peace. His memory will live on in his children and grandchildren. Frank retired in 2005 after 35 years of service with The Canton Cemetery Association.

Frank, the greatest dad in the world, is survived by five daughters Margie (Bob) Gaines of Louisville, Tammy Bailey, Shelva (Kevin) Hill, Robin (Mark) Fisher all of Canton, Michelle (Brian) Ohman of Louisville; one son Frank (Evelyn) Bailey Jr. of Canton; a special nephew Joe Bailey of WV, three sisters Ruth Bailey of Canton, Patty (Larry) Parker of Marion, Opal Lockhart of Elizabeth, WV; three brothers Gary Bailey of Parkersburg, WV, Bobby Bailey of WV, Jack Bailey of Canton; eighteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 14th, with Steve Stevenson officiating. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. also in the funeral home. Burial to take place in North Lawn Cemetery.

Frank was very much loved, cherished and will be missed dearly. Until we meet again Frank and Charlotte will be preparing a home and waiting for us all beyond the pearly gates.
